Hummus is no doubt a very popular side dish and is almost always found at parties. It’s a thick and smooth dip that consists of chickpeas, garlic, and various other vegetables depending on who is making it. With the health benefits of turmeric, it’s a no-brainer to add it to your hummus recipe. It offers vibrant color and a savory twist to an otherwise original appetizer.
Like we said before, turmeric offers a plethora of health benefits! In fact, it’s nicknamed “The Golden Spice” and “Indian Solid Gold.” This is no coincidence, as turmeric can help with weight loss, arthritis and joint pain, it fights inflammation, and even improves skin health. And that’s only a small selection of the list! Turmeric truly is a special spice, and can be used in so many different ways!
